| Hello, does any one know something about mobile gear backup battery, is it possible to turn it on when battery is completely dead?
It had flickerry screen and suddenly wont turn on at all, even no power led...
please heeelp... |

| Im not entirely sure . Try playing with the battery lock switch make sure it’s set to “lock”

| The backup battery will not power a Mobilegear handheld. It is only meant to maintain the integrity of the memory while the main battery is changed out.
Sounds l8ke you have either a bad power supply (unlikely) or (more common) a bad power connector. |

| actualy I have one mobile gear I dos machine which wont turn on if you do not have backup battery... plus it requires first to put coin cell then flip the switch for battery and then put main batt, I know it is funny. But for mg II backup battery is hard to reach, have to dissaseble whole handheld... |

| I think it is "Dai" which means big, but not too sure.
Probably this letter of Kanji.

| Thanks man,
I found that it is a fuse 2A, put thin wire across, mg started, and found that connector for lcd was losely connected, making the short, one resistor burned too, hoping nothing burned on a lcd panel.. |

| I suppose the kanji could mean big or be a manufacturer code.
Can't be sure it was a fuse even with 2A printed on the component (that doesn't help you now lol). |
