CE5 device not booting when connected to network

Whenever this CE 5 x86 device is booted while connected to a network, it will hang at the end of the loading bar during boot - any ideas what could be causing this? If I insert my network cable after boot, it works completely fine. Any ideas?

Can you disable network boot in the bios ?
I would think the device is trying to look for a netbios image of some sort when booting up. I forget the name
