Any more news? |

| Hi again: On those screenshots of Koen's image amount of memory on machine is 250Mb http://linuxtogo.org/~koen/screenshots/nbp-microdrive.png , it looks like it is NB PRO LX http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-68022.html that has 256Mb people say...
Maybe Koen got OpenZaurus running on NB PRO LX?
Here is the link to page translated from german that has a screenshot of what looks like a Psion's own linux NB and some info about linux on NB in general...

So far, the following are interested
cmonex - more from a BoOST Info perspective, not really linux...
eddie
deusexaethera
salmonito (Maris)
chiark
Could people let me know what their potential for helping on any project would be? Is anyone an experienced kernel hacker, or HaRET prober, or... ? |

| well if i owned a netbook pro i would be interested in linux too
i'm really interested in the compression as the same one is used for so many ce.net nand devices. and netbook pro would deserve a custom rom anyway
i can try and help with some bootloader stuff maybe, sorry i dont know linux kernel.. only CE kernel somewhat |

| Excellent. I've heard back from Koen, and he's put me in touch with someone who's working on the BoOST compression stuff - don't worry cmonex, you'll be the first to hear of any news! |

Nice , nice. Did he mention his mysterious, successful Linux image for PRO ? |

| Sign me up as another tester -- of anything: boot/boost procedures, boot loaders, Linux (once it's loaded...).
I'm more than happy to help out in other ways, but don't have the technical expertise to be of any real value in areas like kernel hacking.
Really good to see this gain some momentum... been trolling the Teklogix website for years hoping they'd release a beta or dev version of their linux OS for the NBP. Ah, well.
