have bricked 900c? your 900c suddenly won't power on anymore? here's a solution

Apologies, I mean that I tested the positive and negative prongs device-side. So imagine an NEC 900 plugged in to wall power and you applying those probes to the corresponding male connector on the back of the 900.

Though, now that you mention that, I took the charged battery from my known good NEC 900C and plugged it into the 900 aaaaaand...

Nothing.

If you don't mind, please humor me by checking the voltage output of the second "charged" battery to assure me that it is above 7.7 volts. Thanks in advance...................................................joval posted from his MP900c + ethernet2wifi adapter + WRP proxy

find the fuse on the pcb near power connector and check it..

7.78 v on the second battery. It holds an ok charge, though definitely showing its age.

No luck on the JTAG schematics or image. The fuse had continuity and I also used a wire to circumvent it. Still nothing.
