I take it that means if you have both software directories from CD and not the Device one you would only have had the software folders on the SD last time?

John

probably, yes.. i don't remember very well.. i hope it will work

Nope there is a memory image but it only has the files that are usually on the SD card nothing for internal ram.

Maybe somthing has changed as I happened accross those instructions somewhere.

the instructions in romanian are the same like did you write in page 3 of this thread.., did you open r66 interface from cd and after that select browse, and there is no MemoryImage folder?

i think they were talking about the device.ini file, not the folder.. and that file is doing nothing good to my device, so i think we are back at begining again..

i don'expect big things from their customer support.. i think this is the only solution that they give for no matter what problem.. for all problems-> one solution, simple enough-> delete everything and reinstall )

in another order, we are again at begining, and waiting for cmonex, if he can do something about it: http://uploaded.to/?id=0d5nd2

cmonex is a she

Not sure. I re-read her post and she said if we have a working rom flash she could set it to start explorer. We don't have a working rom flash. just a utility that updates the GPS firmware, not sure if that is enough or not.

I wouldn't be too quick to dissmiss R66 support. I have dealt with them before and found them very good to deal with. ok so 1st level support may not be the best but I am sure they will have higher level tech support staff that may be able to help.
