Check http://forums.alpaxo.com/ and read through the bug tracker links that are now closed in the official announcements section, or check the software section. That'll give you some idea of what has been tried, what works, what doesn't etc. That doesn't mean that more won't work, just that more hasn't been reported.

I would like to buy RedGear but I'm waiting for the answer - can I use and download it right after buying? I don't have my netbook pro (it's on it's way) and I don't know how the registration of redgear works. Do I need only my name or some netbook id?
