Since i bought my 680 i had a very strange problem: the speaker is playing half a tone lower. I decided to play an MP3 in TCPMP and when playing it, the pitch is lower than the original. I need to set to 102% speed to playback properly. This also happens with system sounds. Any help?

Interesting...is it the same way if you use a different player, say the Windows Media Player or Hum?

The 680/690 had a terrible problem with sound distortion when playing MP3s. I found that out right after I got my first H/PC, which was a 680. I'm not aware of a solution. HP corrected this problem with the 710/720/728; on those devices sound plays distortion-free.
