Anyone ever seen or heard of one of these?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-x-Aplux-e-DigiNote-TIM2C-Windows-Pen-Tabl...

Supposed to be some type of tablet, runs on CE.NET

Nevermind...found it: http://www.digitimes.com/NewsShow/Article.asp?datePublish=2002/09/2...

Another one of those nice things to have if you can find batteries for it...

Two.

But they're not getting use since the battery packs are shot. They're like Viewsonic Airpanel 100s with fewer features. 32-bit color is not available and, notwithstanding the image in the second link, I never found a way to rotate the display. I wasn't impressed.

Hmmm, I couldn't resist...I offered him $35 and he took it. He stated in an email that it had one battery in a box that was brand new and fully charges...

I wonder if the Airpanel ROM flash will work on it...

If you look closely, I don't think the display is rotated - I think she's just holding it in portrait orientation. The screen looks the same as in the first photo, just on its side.
