Hey guys!

Still enjoying my Jornada 820, using SSH on it is awesome, but sadly I don't have a good client. vxHPC is alright, but 50$ for a license is a bit more than I plan to spend, considering I can get amazing Android SSH clients for like 2$.
So, do you guys know any decent cheap/freeware client that can do SSH and/or Telnet?

I haven't used it yet, but there is a Windows CE software for SH3 and MIPS called Pocket Tera Term.

Here's how to do SSH in Windows CE (Japanese Site)
http://reg.is.t.kanazawa-u.ac.jp/~imachi/windoze/ce_ssh.html

You use it in conjuction with an app called Port Forwarder, which is on wayback machine here: http://web.archive.org/web/20020329184218/

Download the Pocket Tera Term from here:
http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA002416/ce/tterm_ce.html

I'm not sure if you really need the Port Forwarder, but the Kanazawa-U article uses it.

Lastly, Telnet is already supported fully by Pocket Tera Term.

Good luck, and I might give it a try too.

http://www.pocketputty.net/ - why not? I was using it on Sigmation after some hacks IIRC.

Hm, are you sure it's even possible to run PPC2002 programs on WCE2.11? I can imagine it'd work on a Jornada 720 though

I've run some programs written for as high as CE 4.2 on my 820, after changing the OS version on the executable (and its dependencies) to 2.11.

Sorry Karpour, didn't realize that Jornada 820 was StrongARM. My bad.

There's another one I found called sshCE in the old web (Wayback Machine). You can still download the software.

I doubt you can register anymore though.

Another is TamTerm (all Java SSH client terminal) which is reported to be working on PersonalJava on Jornada 690. Maybe it'll work on the Jornada 820 as well if you use the ARM version of PersonalJava?

Oh, sorry, I was thinking HPC2000/CE3.

PPC2002 is CE3, so it is not impossible.
