Yes, use your favorite registry editor and to to the HEKY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID area. The easiest way is to use PHM Registry Editor and do a search for "My Comuter" and "Recycle Bin".
Once you find those entries in the above area, then change the value for the FriendlyTypeName from whatever it is, to whatever text you want it to say. Both of those icons pull their default data from the ceshell.dll based on a memory location within that driver.
