Wow that looks imptactical to type on. I always get a twang of annoyancce seeing a device with potential let down by screen bezels. If both screens were full width and height, wow that would be one hell of a device.

Does it have pen input on either/both screens?

Edit: I just learned from your YT channel that you can make tag clouds in MatLab. Who knew?

Well, that keyboard is not the default one, it's called Hacker's Keyboard, mentioned by Jake a couple years ago on this thread. I needed the Ctrl key.

No, it doesn't have pen input, but both are touch screen.

About the YouTube Channel, thanks for watching. It's kind of random but I try to put in interesting stuff there. I like to play with MATLAB, and could finally afford to buy a license. haha (I've been using Octave occasionally)

Well done, stingraze! A functional linux on the P!

One reason the typing may look awkward is because--if I'm not mistaken--the linux window is smaller than the actual screen of the P.

With Android proper, I was impressed that Hacker's Keyboard could fill the entire bottom screen. Typing certainly wasn't as glorious as typing on a J-720, but it was manageable.

Such a strange little machine.

Congratulations, that setup must've taken some work,
Jake

Hello Jake! :-)

Well, it took some time (3 years?) to get everything sorted out. jk. haha
I was busy doing other things for a while, but always was thinking of ways to improve my Sony Tablet P.

Yes, I think there were several types of Hacker Keyboard you could setup.

Update: Sony Tablet P prototype found!

A article I found on Engadget:

Sony Tablet P's product manager shows off prototypes, tells the clamshell story

Great history. Man, I liked that machine. I even found the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield to skin the body--I can't imagine why ArmorSuit invested in that.

Ah! I never heard of ArmorSuit, but I know InvisibleShield, maybe a similar product?
