| Can anyone advise how to transfer an excel spreadsheet from a windows 7 pc to a hpc which has got pocket excel on
(fex 2000) The spreadsheet is a star name conversion sheet I would like to use with The Sky (Bisque) program.

| Good news upon looking into it more I found pocket excel hpc2000 will import xls spreadsheets without conversion

| I didn't get a chance to read your post until after you already figured out a solution. But there were several options you could have used.
You could have installed a 3rd party spreadsheet such as PTab to open the files directly, or you could have used the CE.NET excel file viewer. You could have saved your spreadsheet as an HTML file and opened it with the built in browser, or saved it as a .txt or .csv file and opened it with the pocket excel program or even notepad.
Lots of options...but you seem to have found one that works for you...so kudos! | |
