CE Geek, if it works on core, would you mind adding it to the SCL so we can preserve the bins?

It's ARM - and the OS identifier says CE 3.0(!).

It's built with GCC, it won't necessarily set correct OS requirement I guess. Check if it runs.

It looks like it's an empty binary or something. It runs but does nothing. libvlccore and libvlc do not seem to lack dependencies. There is no output if I launch it from CMD.

There is no usable GUI for WinCE. There used to be a WinCE GUI module up to the 1.0 branch, however, it was unmaintained and badly broken, so it was removed in the 1.1 branch. Yes, not having a GUI makes VLC pretty useless, so contributions from developers are badly welcome.

This guide provides a way to build an executable vlc for WINCE, but it is not working ok, since the GUI is not responding properly.
I am still working on it, so if anyone achieve some progress please contact me. And of course, if you have any doubt, question or find something wrong in this post don't hesitate to contact me. --HectorHg 13:47, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

The more recent versions of VLC for WinCE are command line only, just so you guys know. It's the builds from like 2002 that still have a GUI.
