| I do not think that there was ever a Windows CE 1.0x release, where are you seeing this referenced? |
|
|
|
| I agree, Windows CE 1.0 was never released. |

| There seems to have been a Windows CE 1.0 release (well, usable ) according to this site.
http://velo.8k.com/
Quote from the above site:
"A GameBoy emulator for WinCE. Yes this does work on CE 1.0! While not as fast as using the CE 2.x version it is still quite playable. This SHAREWARE title has many configuration options."
"PalmGB-1_0_0-demo.zip" is the file name that seems to have worked on Windows CE 1.0.
This may help you, though not 100% sure.

| Yeah, there's the tagline on the bottom, "Windows CE 1.0 is not dead, it's extinct!" |

| Joe gave me his entire site content years and years ago, I'm not sure why such a release isn't in the SCL.

| Yes, there was a CE1.0 release, I remember using it on my 320lx.

| Sorry for reopening this dead thread, but any chance of someone having a link to this file? I wanted to try it on my new-old HP320lx. If there is a better WinCE2.00 version I would like to try it also. And perhaps, having it on SCL would be great, right C:Amie? Losing a file once is ok, but twice? |

| ntware,
Simple answer is that I can't find the CD with the site on it. I've been looking - a couple of months ago in fact. I just can't find it. |

| That’s a bummer. But apparently Karpour has it, but his Dropbox link is not valid anymore. Any chance you can upload that again Karpour? This time I’ll make sure it makes into the SCL, or at least my personal SCL! |

| The original site is on archive, so you can still find the demo!

Here are some random links, its helpful to spelunk around, I just used the file name 'palmgb.zip' and found various dead ends but some worked.
Here's a site with some CE 1/2 stuff, and the same palmgb demo http://old-hpc.narod.ru/prog02.html
An older thread here about the same subject https://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=16803&st...
A later version from tucows (ppc looks like ) https://archive.org/details/tucows_216709_PalmGB
And a version on some Korean site https://www.clien.net/service/board/pds/50520 |

| Thanks for the links zeroeth! The Korean version actually is the full version (not the demo) and worked very well on my 320lx, even in large screen mode! Since the developer can't be found anymore, any chance of adding this to SCL? We can't afford to lose this gem again. |

| I'm a bit busy at the moment, so unless you can convince Rich or CE Geek to do it, I can give you access to add a few bits yourself? |

| I could do it if you are willing to give me access |
