I picked up 2 eeepc box pcs for nothing. Appearantly they would used for timing something and the software starts up at boot. I have checked the start up folder and it is empty. I have looked in the msconfig list and it doesn't appear to be listed and I have looked in the registry and I did see it listed in the run folder. Any suggestions on where else to look?

thanks,
Thomas

Try checking all installed drivers, they always have autoboot rights. Also, check if the program also starts up in safe mode

Try using tree view in Sysinternals Process Explorer - this will give us more information.
