1024 Core RISC Chip!

So it seems like Adapteva, maker of Epiphany chips made their latest one called Epiphany V.

It has a 1024 core RISC chip!

Talk about scalability and what you can do that in the Embedded world! :-)

DARPA has funded the chip, and it seems it's still not clear how it's going to be marketed in the commercial world, but according to PC World there may be servers or boards based on this chip.

Ah.... Me dreams about 1024 core embedded device in the H/PC form factor...

That would be quite an improvement on my Jornada 680!

If you have the ear of the powers that be, maybe we could ask them to bump up the screen resolution a little too?

Yes, indeed. Improving the screen resolution up too will be nice, something like 4K screen just to attract die-hard Handheld enthusiasts. :-)
