So, in the last few years I've either sold or given away most of my HPCs. I only have my 900C and the Skeyepad left. However I still have a number of pocketpcs...probably 50 or more. The ones in the box in the pictures below are brand new...only turned on and played with for a while and then boxed. I feel like one of those guys on that "Hoarders" tv show....except I bet Gregg's garage is worse.

In the picture from top to bottom, left to right, iPAQ hw6955, iPAQ rw6828, iPAQ Data Messenger smartphone, iPaq 210, iPAQ 110, iPAQ 310, another 210, and a iPAQ 910.

My garage is worse cuz it's full of junk, and because I'm not as organized as you are, Rich. You think I'd leave my beloved CE devices in the cold garage?

I only have twelve Pocket PCs. But I have over 200 CE-based devices in total.

You live in SoCal, when exactly is it ever "cold"?

You'd be surprised. We had a drop in temperature of about 17 degrees C from one day to the next earlier this month.

Yep, and not too surprisingly, the big drop precipitated a small tornado about an hour away from where I live. (I was just up in that area yesterday.)

Temperature has always been easy for me, back in the '60s, my high school chemistry teacher was adamant about using the metric system for everything. Didn't take long to learn to go from C>F by multiply C x 1.8+32 or go from F>C by -32 then divide by 1.8.

Of course this was back during the push to have America turn to the metric system...you started seeing it at the gas pumps and cars started having the speedometers printed with both values and 32 oz Cokes went to a liter and we gained a free ounce.

. . . which we needed because we went from the 100-yard dash to the 100-meter dash and thus had to sprint an extra 28 feet . . .

Rich, looks like you're a regular iPAQ-rat.
