do you have a bsquare with forgotten password too?
can you tell me...what do the following combinations do:
R+O
G+K
and how does R+S differ from R+B?
exactly what happens after you click 1108 times? your english seems to be understandable enough
Yes, I not password for my BSQUARE PHH.
R+O = R+B = R+S. No difference (I did not see such ). This = C+B, but not delay in begin.
G+K: This combination writes 'Updating Flash' for 1-2 seconds, hereon continues as R+O. I tested without SD card.

| what happens with G+K if you have a SD card inserted? but PLEASE, format the SD card to clean first, and do not put any files on it. we don't know if the bsquare is looking for a specific file name as the bootloader image.
...but if you wait a bit, i can try and see more in the bootloader disassembly.
and can you answer this too: exactly what happens after you click 1108 times? i need an exact description, thanks

| Click LOGIN 1108 times blocking password procedure. System continues as correct input password. All working, only keyboard is block. Afret Soft Reset Password box is active and must repeat procedure '1108' again.
Not differences G+K with or without blank SD card. BUT have differenc in R+O, R+S and R+B.
With SD card:
R+O - searh files for loading and updating from SD card. Process is very fast and I can not read file names.
R+B - writes BO.... (sory, is very fast).
R+S - writes DO.... -- || --|| -- |

| yes if you are able to access activesync or you have any other way to copy a patched gwes.exe over and then soft reset.
also i want to continue the bootloader disasm (next week) so we can flash from sd. |

| maybe ,we could use dv to rec. the boot ,and play it slooooooooooowly .....
so, we could find out the filename,in the boot. then,we do all ways to find the update files. |

| i have a problem... i wanted to go and check this stuff
but it turns out remote desktop connection to my pc is dead, and so i don't have the bootloader disassembly file.
if someone could dump their RAM i would be able to extract it from the dump and disassemble that.
how to do it -
1 ) connect bsquare phh to activesync
2 ) download http://nah6.com/~itsme/itsutilsbin-20080313.zip
3 ) extract this zip on your PC (not the bsquare ) and cmd into that folder where you extracted the stuff to
4 ) run this command:
pmemdump 0x94000000 0x800000 ramdump1.bin
this will create a ramdump1.bin file in the folder, size 8MB. zip it and upload that to somewhere for me, thanks
p.s. if itsutils complains you need to copy toolhelp.dll for ce3 to bsquare \windows folder, get it from my site Edited by cmonex 2008-03-14 5:16 PM
