The main purpose of this project was to translate the Japanese UI of the Sigmarion2. I think I solved all previous issues ( including the nasty problems with translation of the Compact Flash name) , so this new version should be the final one...
You can download it here:
http://rapidshare.de/files/31813279/SIG2_EnglishUI__Final_version_....

It would be nice if someone could permanently host this file somewhere...

I hope that more people will buy a Sigmarion2 now, in order to have a growing community of Sig2 users. I do recommend "Direct from Japan" (http://stores.ebay.com/Direct-From-Japan): they have some really good devices for a great price...

Just a little update here ( no major changes, just 3 new control applets translations):

I am looking for some feedback from Sig2 users, thanks.

There's no chance you could email it to me, is there? (It's for my German JVC MP 33) Like many people on BT Broadband in the UK I can't use RapidShare (I'm a BOT, apparently) Cheers. S

I have uploaded 2 different versions of the HPC2000 English UI in the following package:
http://www.upload2.net/page/download/ya2sUW7gvAEEMbE/English+HP...

The first version is for HPC2000 devices with any european language, the second is for japanese devices ( like the Sigmarion2).

Superb work G; and that file download works perfectly. This has improved my productivity by about 30 mins a day - every time I use the JVC and get stuck in German grammar, usually somewhere deep in the Pocket Excel Menu structure. A fantastic addition to the HPC community software library.

Try the Japanese version first (Sig2 version): it should work. Please report your findings. Thanks.

Hello, I've just bought JVC MP C-33, it was an "English HPC2000 UI" installed on it but I had to make a hard reset... which is very pity because I don't have any backup.
I can't find and download English UI, I would appreciate alot if you could upload it somewhere please?
(Links below are dead)
Waiting for a reply,
Best regards

Geared2003: Please stop using all these fly by night temporary upload services for your projects! They are too good to be lost like this and I'm sure its also very annoying that you need to keep re-uploading them! Even a geocities site is better than this! My http://www.geocities.com/giant_bootleg_defensor/CE page has served me well for many years and it will surely always be online as long as Yahoo itself still exists. I also find web1000.com an OK service. Heck, even uploading a multi-part RAR and attaching it would be better than these services! I'm sure others can suggest some even better web hosts if you need them.

And C:Amie, please host this in the HPC:Factor download section if you can.
