ugh, you shouldn't have run it on it. only if the program is really compiled for xscale. this one isnt.

Well, I concluded (incorrectly) that it was compiled for the X-Scale CPU based on which devices it is working and not working on. Looks like we've run into a dead end here.

debugger could help if i ever get the time

I've posted a new file for download that includes both HPC and PPC versions of the program in format for MIPS, ARM, and SH3 formats as well as some low res versions and some HPC 2.0 versions. Anyway, they are all in the same zip file, so give them a try and let me know.

Maybe one of the ppc versions will work with the J720...

Yeah, he had sent them to me a long time ago, but back then I only posted 900C stuff on my site, not all the Mobilepros unlike now. I should have posted them all back then just never got around to it really...

Cool! Already tried the CE 2.0 SH3 version on my 360LX, and the MIPS Palm-size PC version on my Compaq Aero 2180 - working nicely on both.

Thanks to Rich Hawley, HPC YachtCE now runs on the Jornada 728.

Just download and unzip, the file provided by Rich (see link in posting above), then extract the 'hpcYachtCEArm' file and copy it to you 720 or 728 and you are ready to play.

Actually, this game runs and sounds better on the 728, than it does on my 900c!
