KlockPlus: A new app (and it even has Windows CE 1.0 support!)Handheld PC News Posted 3 months ago | News | Chris Tilley 1 comment
A new Windows CE app has emerged from the wilds of GitHub, and what is unusual about this release is that for the first time in a very long time. In addition to the support of later versions of CE, Palm-Size PC and Pocket PC. The developer is also advertising support for Windows CE 1.0 and 1.01.
Shizuru Uiharu (aka anderain on Github) has released and alpha version of a skinable clock app called "KlockPlus". KlockPlus can run on Windows CE devices as well as CASIO fx-9860 graphic calculators and desktop PC platforms. The app allows the user to build custom software generated watch faces using a tool on their PC and then import them into the app on any supported device. The current 0.2 release remains an early alpha build of the app – so bugs may be present. Windows CE builds are available for MIPS, SH3, SH4 and ARM devices and include number of sample clock faces. KlockPlus is released under a BSD open source license and if you give it a try, don’t forget to show the developer some love on GitHub and offer feedback and report bugs if you have any!
