Description
Tiny text editor KN MemoPad for Sharp Brain devices from Knatech received a function to change the character color and background color, handle UTF-8 / UTF-16 LE / CP1252 encodings and CRLF / LF / CR newline codes, display the position of the caret in rows and columns, and a toolbar, etc.
To prevent conflicts with the original version, the settings are saved in a separate file.
The original version is available here. Detailed usage is also posted.
* Since Mr. Knatech used his own DLL to implement convenient dialogs, etc., I created the lib and compiled the main program through trial and error with eVC4, which cannot use Makefile. In addition, the internal processing of file loading and saving has been largely rewritten to expand support for character codes.
0.12 rev2 Changes:
Supports UTF-8 (with and without BOM) and UTF-16 LE
The file loading/saving part was largely rewritten.
The specification of automatically adding a newline at the end of the file, which was in the original version, is gone.
Changed to save the created color list in the lower left of the color selection dialog.
Added version information and made it possible to check from within the software
Added ability to open files specified by command line or association
