Description

Vista skin pack for HPC2000

Ultimate Shell for HPC2000 devices( Mips, Arm):

Version 1.10 (15/10/06)

Description: Freeware, new look-and-feel for your HPC

Known issues:
A few rare problems have been reported with PPC Games that use both Gapidraw and commctrl.dll: if you encounter such problems, disable commctrl.dll.040C.mui (rename the extension “.bak” and soft-reset the device).

This pack should work with all HPC2000 devices: it has been tested with a French J710. No need to change anything in the registry: the CAB file will enter the correct values.

Installation Instructions

Instructions:
- copy the provided CAB file to your device and execute it. When prompted, replace all existing files. Reset your device: have fun!

-if you already have my initial “transformation pack” (Ce.net /XP style), you can uninstall it if you want, but it is not necessary. You can even switch between the 2 shell mods. Go to the following registry entry ( use any WinCE registry editor like this one: http://www.yetanotherhomepage.com/j7xx/files/tre082h.zip) :
HKLM / MUI: SysLang Entry : the “409” value enables the XP style, the “40C” value enables the Vista style. Reset your device to apply the changes.

-This shell mod is not compatible with my HPC2000 English UI conversion.
