Description

Sharp electronic dictionaries such as SHARP Brain can add dictionary content by downloading them from the Internet, and like other companies' electronic dictionaries, dictionary data can be added using content cards. However, this dictionary content does not include Russian. If you use XTBook, you can browse dictionaries from Wikipedia and Wiktionary (free dictionaries), and you should be able to somehow use the English version of Wiktionary as a Russian-English dictionary, but unfortunately, the current version of XTBook does not support the Russian language dictionary. Unable to enter Cyrillic characters.

The administrator of this site himself chose Russian as his second foreign language at university, but this is a troublesome problem because he cannot afford to buy a new dictionary. Therefore, in order to be able to use Russian dictionaries in classes and exams, we created a custom version of XTBook, XTBook-0.2.4-russian, which improves XTBook and adds a simple Russian soft keyboard.

The co-op's electronic dictionary for Russian is made by Seiko and is approved for use in the exam, but this XTBook-0.2.4-russian was also approved for use in the exam and was able to be used.

If the Russian version of Wiktionary is converted, it may be possible to use it as an English-Russian dictionary or a Japanese-Russian dictionary (it is not distributed on the XTBook Dictionaries Portal). Please note that the Japanese version of Wiktionary has very few entries, so it cannot be used as a practical Russian-Japanese dictionary.
