Windows CE 2.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Easter Egg

Overview:

The Microsoft Windows CE 2.0 Service Pack one distribution contains an Easter egg of sorts. An Easter egg is a hidden item in a software program, placed there intentionally by the developer. Easter Eggs are usually placed in a software application to list the names of the development team and the testing team.

This Easter Egg is for Windows CE 2.00 (Handheld PC 2.0) devices only.

Guide:

To view the Easter Egg:

  1. Install Windows CE 2.0 Service Pack One on your Handheld PC.
  2. Soft Reset to complete the installation
  3. Open 'My Handheld PC'
  4. Double Tab 'Windows' to open the Windows directory
  5. In the file list scroll down to the 'S' entries
  6. Double tap sp1readme.txt to view the Easter Egg
