This article overviews the Microsoft Windows CE Mobile Channel Viewer for the Handheld PC.

The Microsoft Mobile Channel Viewer provides the Handheld PC with a XMLCDF Synchronisation service through Microsooft ActiveSync or Windows CE Services similar to the Channel Viewer built into the ROM of the Palm-Size PC.

In order to make use of the Channel Viewer, you need to connect to a XMLCDF publishing point on a participating website, or, alternatively if one isn't available you can use the Microsoft Mobile Channel Wizard to create your own channel interpreter script which will enable you to automatically download your favourite websites, and store them on your Handheld PC when you synchronise.
