Overview:
This version 1.2 of HP viewer will enhance HP viewer's exception handling in Contacts and Calendar for repeating (recursive) events such as Birthday and Anniversary. The improvements will be seen in launching of HP viewer.
- If you encounter HP viewer "hang" situation, perform a soft reset to the HP Jornada.
- Close all applications on the HP Jornada.
- Download the file hpqview.exe to a temporary directory on your desktop PC and double click on the file to run the self-extracting program. A temporary folder will be created on your desktop PC.
- Connect your Jornada to the desktop PC before double clicking the file "install.exe" in the temporary folder to start the installation.
- Follow the instructions prompted to complete the installation.
- Disconnect the Jornada from the desktop PC and then perform a soft reset to the Jornada.
To verify that the patch has been properly installed, launch HP viewer. In HP viewer, select File and then About. The version shown should be Version 1.2 (build 1134.688).
