I'm new to the forums, but not really a new user.

I've tweaked my j720 to the way I like it, but I am missing a couple
of last pieces, MS Reader being my main priority right now.

I've seen it listed elsewhere in these forums that Handheld Attitude
had install info, but most of his info is currently offline from what I
can tell. Most of my other searching has turned up fruitless.

If anybody can point me in a new direction
that would be greatly appreciated.

The other two pieces I'm missing are
- MS Streets 2001 for j720 (I can't find a download anywhere...
I don't have GPS, but would like the MS map viewing.

- "why won't tweak2k2 work"(I have smalltweak, but would
like to change what level my IE perceived to be).

Thank,
Jack

Welcome to the boards & my MSN (Not in that order though )

lol

OK,

Tweaks2k2, there is a HPC 2000 version of it, I don't know if you have seen it yet or are trying to use the Pocket PC version.

You need to have Reader installed on a Windows PC in order to begin to perform the activation process.
Henri has a download here:
http://www.yetanotherhomepage.com/j7xx/msr/msr.html (Saves our bandwidth bill, muhahaha). I think he put the instructions in his redist.

You can get PS2001 from Handheld Underground:

Thanks for the info...

It took some simple problem solving to get the link to
Henri's site to work... he must have coded something
odd that Safari doesn't like, but IE does.

Oh well... Mac guy and a 720 not always a good mix.

As for Tweak I've tried it twice with the HPC version
and it installed okay, but when run it errored out.
I'll track the registry way of doing it.

Once again thanks for the links.

Ah, you're being caught out by the frameset navigation system on Handheld Attitude, firefox doesn't approve all that much either; sounds like it is better than Safari in that regard mind.

The registry mod goes in

HKLM\sware\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\
Just change the MSIE 4.01 to MSIE 6.0.

C:Amie, sorry about the question, but is there a way to disable that frameset navigation, in order to use the site in FF. because i have to launch ie every time i need some software from the page. Or is it necesary that the webmaster changes the page design

Thanks a lot

The webmaster has to do it, unless you ask him if you can change it so it doesn't use frameset's

He wont turn it off for you, you will have to disable java scripting and I think that will fix it.
