| Don't know if it's been mentioned (this post is 13 pages of reading) but how about a marker inside a forum's thread directory listing to tell you, the logged-in user, what threads you have posted in? Sometimes you lose track of what discussions you are participating in. |

| You can either 1 ) look at your subscriptions, because by default you are subscribed to threads you post in. If you disabled subscriptions you can 2 ) use the search function and put your username in the Filter by author box.
But I agree if this search is popular enough, a shortcut link to do it is always welcome |

| Sometimes when I click on a thread I go to the first page, then later when I click on the same thread it goes to the last page. Other threads go to the last page. Then they go to the first page. I would like to always go to the last page.
Wow, I hardly ever posted onto this thread before. Please don't think I am complaining just offering my |

| Oh, I forgot to report another bug. I don't know if anyone has mentioned it. If we are in a thread, try to post, and it shows that we are a guest, we need to log in (obviously ). But after we log in, we are not directed back to that thread, or the posting page, but to the main forum. |

You can click on the title in the right-hand column ("Last Post" in "Forums Home" to get to the last page. Or if you go into a specific category from there, you can click on the little icon next to the last poster's name in the right-hand column. Edited by CE Geek 2006-02-20 12:34 AM

| ok. seems like it screwed up opera & IE. any solutions? i would hate using firefox just for hpcfactor
edit: error with IE is just internal server error, http 500.
with Opera it says this (either inbox or just a post in a thread!!! ) :
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0401'
Expected end of statement
/forums/includes/include-messenger.asp, line 101
sBody = sBody "http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/inbox.asp" & CRLF & CRLF

| Snake,
If you go here: http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/category-view.asp there is a link called my active threads at the top right. Similar thing.
Yoldering,
There is an ambiguity there. They've changed the behaviour of unindexed thread requests to match that of invision. Some go to the last page because the url you click is indexed.
PS,
I hand wrote that into v1 myself, I've yet to do it to v2. I will eventually, but I really need a programmig break, so only urgent things are being done.
CmoneX et al.
I can't reproduce these errors, so if there is to be any redress to them, I need error codes... heck, I need full bug reports of what you were doing, how you were doing it and what went wrong. |
