I am studying up on linux to install it on a p3 to be a disk copying machine so I am a bit familiar with the OS. I have a basic question that probably applies to all hpc's and all flavors of linux.

How does it get up and running once you press the start button? Do you just install it on a cf card and pop the cf card into the hpc? do you start it from ce as you would any other application? Is there some kind of setting you can change within the hpc to "boot from the cf card"?

The second main question is if you pull the cf card can you easily go back to ce?

1. CF install and running a linux bootloader to boot it. it isnt a setting in the hpc
2. yes, just do a hard reset.
