I've done a fair amount of digging, and have found only one person who worked on it a while back but wasn't able to finish it - you'll find info at http://prumpf.org/sh4/. I have an Aero and would be very interested in a Linux port if it ever happens.

Is there anyone with the ability and time who would be interested in completing the linux port for the Aero and other sh4 devices? There are still a lot of these devices in use, and I know I (for one) would be thrilled to have an updated OS and applications.
