| When I receive a PM, the 'Sign in--Register' text pops up mysteriously. I took a screencap of what it looks like before and after PM reading.

There is a link in the last post of gnecht. When I click it, I get this.

You cannot hotlink into the HCL or H/PC:Update, the server should have sent you back to the H/PC:Update home page - which it now does. |

But I could do it earlier - by accepting agreement/license first and the clicking the link again.
What's the reason? |

| The server deletes the session data after 20 minutes. If you return in 20 minutes it will remember who you are and accept the fact that you aren't coming from an external website and trying to mooch bandwidth. |

| Do you think that you could use CloudFlare? It is free, it caches static content, it does not have bandwidth limits.
I am really not a guru in this sphere of course.

| No idea, but to be honest I'm not inclined to invest any time in a feature that allows people to take content from the site without visiting the site. |

| Hi C:Amie, this is the real Paspie using the Guest thing here; I have a problem with my registered account. Tried to change my email, but I got the domain wrong ('paspie@yahoo.com' instead of 'paspie@yahoo.co.uk'), and therefore I am unable to activate my account. I have emailed you ([[[SNIP]]) but I haven't had a response for almost 3 weeks. If you do see this do you mind changing my email to 'paspie@yahoo.co.uk' and resetting my password? Thanks for the attention. |
