I know nothing about running a web site or what it involves.
Is there a way of attracting a fellow member that they have a PM when they are online?
I tried Alert - didn't work.
Myself,if I don't refresh the page, I don't get the Inbox update.
Apart from the e-mail notification sometime later.
Is there anyway to alert the recipient that there is a message waiting for them on site?
Users will see that they have a PM when they are active on the forums (left hand havigation pane). Trying to force people to know that they have a PM is a little... obsessive don't you think?
If anyone wants to remain active on the forums, simply sit on the /forums/ root page, it automatically reloads itself, and will therefore display the PM delivery.
My apologies for hitting the Alert button, didn't know what it was for. I do now!
