| perazz: you need to do a termination record in the BIN, see the romtutorial for that.
i see you didn't modify the OS, right? just the BIN didn't boot because the above was missing. |

| Sorry can't resist the temptation to ask a super-dummy question in the heat of battle:
What is the special thing about this bsqaure rom, apart from being CE.NET 4.1? |

| ce.net 4.1 isn't anything special. I don't understand your question |
|
|
|
| I am just curious to know if there is any goodie in this specific rom, compared to the official ce.net 4.2 and your custom v2 rom. |

| LOTS... look for some screenshot of the today screen of the bsquare power handheld. such as http://regmedia.co.uk/2004/04/29/bsquare_front_open.jpg
the OEM just made the rom like that.. that's unmodified official rom for the device.
btw.. "official cenet 4.2 rom" you mean official for 900c.. Edited by cmonex 2008-06-11 12:46 PM

| Has any way to prevent the bsquare not to hard reset(cold boot) After the battery capacity uses up?

| Hi to everybody...I'm a newbie not very keen on these things...
I bought a new phh bsquare 8 months ago for 40 euros but I've found just some compatible program...
What can I do with your work? Can I upgrade OS and revitalize my phh bsquare?
in this case...how can I do? Is there a tutorial step by step for a newbie like me?
thank you!!! |

| hey, well, you can find loads more compatible programs, go to community links on this page. look for the ARM programs of course. best three sites are http://yetanotherhomepage.com/j7xx and http://hpcnec.com and hpc.communitypage.net
you can make custom roms, sticking to cenet 4.1 at least *so far*. you can still improve program compatibility - see my work with the nec 900c.
tutorial is available on my site (http://hpcmonex.net, on the izemize page ) Edited by cmonex 2008-06-17 8:22 AM
