New Features for Registered Users (July 2008)

I don't find PDF to be lame. They open faster in any CE PDF reader than PRCs do in Mobipocket, at least in my experience.

Back to the topic of new features for registered users. The change in the post number "squares" looks a little funny to me, with all due respect. The squares for 25 posts are kind of hard to see, and just don't look right to me next to the solid dark squares for the higher post quantities. (Just one user's opinion, though.)

That's fair enough, I could look to make them darker.

Just for the record, all HCL submissions this year have been enacted, those who sent things in will have received automated email from the site notifying them that they have been looked at. Apologies for the delay, I know that a couple of the updates haunt back to January but I had to write the support into the site admin for receiving the update first

Just my opinion -

The new text is cute, but I think that the 'Posts: 9567' is meaningful enough!

John has a point. I didn't really see anything wrong with the original squares. (Looks like somebody else agrees with us, too, cuz they appear to be back. )

I'm not on my home PC, but I am logged in, and the old squares are what I'm seeing.

When I was at work I saw the old squares again. They are now back to the new style...

They are stuck in your browser cache still, they'll clear up once it gets flushed.

This would be a second license for a second server, or just an upgrade because the current version you're running won't run on any modern/faster hardware that you can buy now?

Knowing absolutely nothing about SQL: is the open-source mySQL at all a possibility?
