Need Linux files..

Trying to download kernel and modules both from the jlime site and the Michel Bel's site..but links seem to be broken..would anyone post them for me? I'd prefer jlime files as they are a bit more updated.

Hence: Wanted: new retainer for the manual - time lacking at the moment...

Since google points a lot to this manual - I can set up an account on my site
for anyone interested.

I already proposed a long time ago to have it maintained on jlime, but I presume
everyboy else has the same problems (too much to do in work, hobbies and family
plus the proverbial 31 hours per day, 12 days per week busy...)

Hi Michel, I have an issue which maybe you can help to solve.
While booting Linux on my 900c I get error:

VFS: Cannot open root device "hda2" or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option; here are the available partitions:
kernel panic - not syncing: VPS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

which, looking at the jlime "Installation discussion" forum seems to be a quite common issue. So, according with what is stated in the forum, my card shouldn't be recognized.

I'm using Kernel 2.6.24 and my cf is a 1GB Kingston card. I wanted to know if using Kernel 2.6.23 would solve the issue as on this page they say my card should work with such Kernel.

Otherwise which is the easiest way to re-compile Kernel 2.6.24 adding CF card informations necessary for booting?
