for my word application? Every time I open word or go to save something I have to retrace my steps to find the cf card, then the right folder, etc.

Is there any way to set a default for this?

The answer to your question is - no!

But there is a work around - try this

1. Run Pocket Word

2. Save a blank Word Document (name it MasterCopy) in the folder you want to be your default folder
Next time you want to create a new Word Document, open PW by double tapping on the MasterCopy file in Pocket Explorer

3. Create the new document and use 'Save As' ..... this will automatically take you to your default folder.

Not the ideal way to do this, but it works.

Nice to hear from you again, John.

There doesn't seem to be a registry setting for the default document location in Pocket Word - at least I couldn't find one.

...and if you make the MasterCopy read-only, you should be able to 'save as" and not have to worry about overwriting the original if you forget.
