I was just wondering if anyone had or knew where I could net the neccessary tools to write embedded vb or (visual) c++ software for windows ce 2.0?

You need visual studio 5/6 and the CE Toolkit; which wasn't freeware.

I've got vs6, but I (logically) dont have the tool kit. Can you give the full/official name of the tool kit and perhaps a place to aquire it?

This stuff seems to be abandonware, does anyone know where a copy can be downloaded, or alternatively where a copy can be purchased

Yuo can download the platform SDK from the developer section - it wont bolt onto eVT though.
