Hey C:Amie, as per the prime directive it had to be removed as the civilization isn't warp capable. Personally, I'd have liked to have seen what the saucer section would look like after 20+ years of abandonment. Sad they actually ruined the bridge set for that terrible movie.

Anyone watching "The Mandalorian"? I'm in love. I truly am. And I'm not even a fan of Star Wars as a whole.

Fair point, I had forgotten that Viridian III was supposed to be inhabited.

I have it queued to watch, but haven't. I'm just not into Star Wars and as soon as "Baby Yoda" memes arrived, my minimal interest evaporated. Should I give it a try?

You should definitely give "The Mandalorian" a try. It's fairly good, even if it is Star Wars. Give the first season a try at least, only ten episodes. Last episode is my favorite so far.

I must say that I like Scifi and I like Westerns. The Mandalorian is a nice mix of the two. My sons and I got hooked on it and burned through them. We are ok with Star Wars but not fanatics. But this show was pretty good. Helps if you have some ideas of Star Wars but not absolutely necessary. I'm more of a Star Trek guy than Star Wars but not trying to start anything - I like both.

Going back to the earlier comment about Best of Both Worlds in ST-TNG - yeah--it is amazing how much more cutting edge it was back when I fist saw it. The Borg were down right creepy back then. Still a good show. One of the best of the cliff-hanger episodes. Back further - remember the one where Q tossed the across the galaxy and they first ran into the Borg. They were even creepier then.

The Borg gave me nightmares as a kid. (Literally) They were freakier back then because we weren't so knowledgeable about them. All we heard was, "We are Borg" and they'd beam aboard trying to assimilate you. Now, we know there's a queen, and that they won't attack unless they view you as a threat etc.

I still find them one of the freakiest things in SciFi, though.

Well folks, Boba Fett will appear in season two of "The Mandalorian". Temuera Morrison who played Jango Fett will return as his clone.

Looking forward to it!

Been watching Dark on Netflix. Series about time travel. Really good so far. Audio is in German but that's fine with me. CC works.

Also watched Vivarium…really left me feeling frustrated. Damn aliens!

Dark looks scary... :-)

I've only watched only a few German movies. The most memorable one was Das Boot. lol.

Space 1999 looks very neat. I never watched it...

Thunderbirds was popular when I was small in my area.

I thought "Thunderbirds" was pretty impressive as a kid's show (and real impressive as a puppet show ).
