Hello.. Does anyone know if any web browsers that run on 2.01?
I don't have huge expections since i'm coming from a visor with a text browser, but just looking at options. Most of the ones I have found require 2.11 at least officially. (I guess pocketbrowser might work according to vendor but waiting for pda to arrive to try it out).

Foliage Software's iBrowser works with CE 2.01. It should still be available on places like Tucows or Windows Mobile Today.

Having used both of Conduits Palm Browser and Pocket Browser, I think the Pocket Browser is by far the best of the 3. I never had the display problems I had with Foliage. What device are you waiting for Accornce?

BTW, both of them come SH3 and MIPS flavor....depending on your CPU.

And, even better, the system requirements are incorrect as it appears to work flawlessly on my Ericsson MC16 Handheld PC! (although it's only a trial which runs out when you have used it 50 times).

Yes for some reason, Pocket Browser will operate on CE 2.0 even though the requirements specify you need CE 2.11.

What benefits does Pocket Browser have over the Pocket IE built in to CE 2.0 (performance-wise, and just generally loading webpages)?

I believe that iBrowser requires CE 2.01 or higher. (Believe it or not, there's a huge difference between CE 2.00 and 2.01.)
