becker 7928 winceimg

Hi guys,

I've tried to build my own windows ce 5 image with the windows ce plattformbuilder, but when flashing it on my becker 7928 an error occured .. now the screen stays black, and i can only access the flash-mode.. does anyone have an image of 7928? (winceimg.bin)

Can anybody provide them or copy them from their one becker?

I tried reflashing with some winceimg files I found for other models, but this only made things worse.
Unfortunatly the Becker support can't provide me the files.

Luckly I know somebody with the same model 7928, but I don't know how to extract the winceimg files
from that working Becker.

Can anybody help me with this?

I just downloaded XDATOOLS.
It might be possible to extract the required files from a working Becker unit.
Can anybody confirm this?

I will have to try this tomorrow.

I tried to make a backup from a working Becker unit with XDATOOLS and osloader but this failed.
I have no options left other then to wait for somebody to post a working winceimg.bin file.
Please, anybody?

The original winceimg files restored my becker.
Everything is working again.
I will never use the flashing tool agian.

Many of us may read and show interest in your problem, but unfortunately I (and probably all 160 other lookers) simply don't have a Becker 7928. We sympathize, but, sadly, that is all I (we) can do. Don't give up yet. Keep checking back though. Sooner or later someone with that device may read your post.
