If I go into Remote Networking and try to establish a new connection by clicking on the New Connection icon the Virtual Private Network option is greyed out. What do I need to do in order to make this facility available?
is it a jornada 720? i have no idea what you could do about it, it was the case with my 720 too, but on the 728 it isn't greyed out, meaning it's available. i tried it on my 728, but it allows for only dial-up vpn. if that's what you want maybe i can send the appropriate files from my 728's rom... don't know if it'll help or not.
i don't know anything about the jornada 820, but i can tell you that on the 728 it's nothing like the checkpoint or movian vpn. as i said it knows only a dialup vpn. these third party apps are much better..
