I got my Jornada 720 a few days ago and of course it came with no stylus. The only place I could see them for sale was on eBay for $20 shipped to the UK, which seems like a lot for a piece of plastic.

Does anybody have a J720 stylus for sale at a reasonable price as I am having to use generic styli and I would rather have a complete Jornada than one with a sad vacant slot where the stylus should be. Failing that is there anywhere to buy affordable styli.

Thanks

I'm also in the UK and in need of a stylus. I couldn't find anywhere on UsedHandhelds that stated the UK shipping costs, nor if they even ship to the UK in general. I'd imagine though that $15 + airmail shipping will end up a bit pricey.

Doesn't look like Jornada Central has any at the moment, but you can ask them. They're known on ebay.co.uk as gumboya.

(back from 30 day vacation)...

You may need to email Michelle at UsedHandhelds. Some things they sell aren't listed on their site.

The "generic", non-mechanical ones are cheaper, but are not worth it to me.

Actually, it is 3 pieces of plastic...the barrel, clicker, and tip....

I bought a OEM stylus from CAUser so I'm sorted now, but just to clarify, does the original stylus retract or what is the clicker for?

For an OEM stylus, you simply pull it out. For originals, you press the clip and then the head pops out for you to pull it out with little force. You can see the difference by referring to my thread for Jornada 720 parts.
