I know, I could search for all these things that I am about to ask. I have so many questions that are like this. But I am thinking of switching from CE.NET 4.2 to a Linux platform, and need some questions answered:

1) Will a NEC MobilePro 900 support the Linux OS without any lag?(Of course I mean the pocket, or portable, versions)
2) Are the Linux OS(again, ones that run on HPC) 32 bit, 16 bit, or something else?
3) Will the Linux OS run any Linux program?
4) Can Linux be flashed to the HPC just like the CE.NET OS can?
5) Is Linux fully compatable with C++? (This IS the reason I want a new OS, CE doesn't have anything good for C++
6) Aside from this forum, are there any places that are specificaly for the Linux OS on HPCs?
7) If 3) is no, what is the most compatable version that will run seamlessly on the HPC in 1)?

Yep... Figured that would happen. I had already read that, but I didn't see a link to any roms, or 'Hard' evidence of use. And is it also true that the sound doesn't work on Jlime for MP900?

Yes, did... I wish every site was as organised as HPCFactor, but unfortunatly, whoever there rund the site, never posted the MP900 installation page. It says it will be soon, but it has said that for the last year and one half, so I guess it won't happen.

A lot of H/PC Linux stuff has been in flux, changing direction from one day to the next, unfortunately. There was talk of developing an ActiveSync installer for JLime as well, but discussion of that suddenly dropped off after the project stalled.

Use this install guide and just use the latest files linked in jlime's wiki in the download section as this guide is outdated. This how-to is very well written and will walk you through step by step otherwise.

Cheers.

Is Jlime 32-bit? If not, is it even possible to run a 32-bit OS on an HPC?
