I have some problems.
When I start the Pocketwinc it discovers the wi-fi network, but when I open IE I get the following message:
A connection with the server could not be established.
My wi-fi card type is Linksys WPC11 ver.3

most likely using the wrong type of security
or info re the wep key may be set incorrectly (open vs shared etc) I had this problem with some Cisco cards i was using and it turned out that my key should have been set to open instead of shared. hope that helps.

I installed the drivers by Linksys WPC11 ver.3
The driver seems to be installed correctly, soft reset, and I get the following message:

"Cannot find 'WCF11STA' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available."

Where did you get that driver? It sounds like it might be for Pocket PCs, which would mean it requires the Pocket PC version of mfcce300.dll (and aygshell.dll and doclist.dll).

Did you install it through ActiveSync, or by CAB file? Also, do you have any Pocket PC programs installed on the 720?

Well, I know there's a bug in some older 720s that causes ActiveSync to misidentify the 720 as a Pocket PC rather than an H/PC. Try this:

1) Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Remove Programs and uninstall the Linksys driver.

2) Download the file Inflated.zip from the download page you linked above. Open the ZIP file and copy the file WPC11.H300ARM.CAB onto a CF card.

3) Place the CF card in the 720 and run the CAB file on the 720.

Let us know if this works.

You're still getting the "Cannot find . . ." message? That shouldn't be happening.

Not terribly sure, but you might need to ENABLE the card to work with the web browsers.
