Buildin Yahoo on j720, does it still work?

Finaly got a HPC again, my trade of my NEC mp900 for a j720 is finished.
I love the smaller footprint of the j720, and from the 10 mins I've been playing with it, it feels a lot more responsive. However, there is a buildin yahoo messenger.
It seems like it doesnt recognize a wireless network connection in the program, it just shows USB and serial, while I have my wifi card installed and working (with security, a 30 second process, Ambicom rules)

Does the buildin yahoo messenger still work, or do I have to do an update to make it work?

It doesn't work, it was killed off shortly before the MSN lockdowns in 2003.
