"Screen Blanker" for the Jornada 6xx ???

Hi Folks,

As you know, some programs that work on the SH3 Jornada 690 only display on part of the screen because of their design (like quarter VGA 320x240), leaving the desktop icons and whatever still on the screen in the background while the program is running.

Is there an easy way to blank the screen while running the programs to cut down the distraction of the background icons, etc., and yet get back to the desktop icons upon exiting the program with minimal fussing? It's a small point, but just trying to tweak the interface a bit.

What about using winwatch to make the current window fill the entire screen?

MSCDEX: Any suggestions where to find Winwatch? I Searched your site, but came up short.

I emailed Damnsoft to see if there is a SH3 version, since all I see is the latest ARM, etc, release.

There has never been an SH3 version thus far, since ShadowMaster's original version of WinWatch was written for H/PC 2000 devices. ShadowMaster didn't create H/PC Pro versions; instead cmonex has hexedited versions that work in H/PC Pro. However, since ShadowMaster has been a regular on this site in the past, maybe he'll be willing to take a shot at making an SH3 version for H/PC Pro.
