| One more test was done to compare Dell with HP adapter and Dell with Summit adapter. WiFi signals showed equal strength ('very good' as indicated by the driver ) in both cases. So, 'internal' WiFi within MP900C is real. 3 photos are attached. Edited by CAuser 2009-11-07 5:49 PM

| Good gift for ourselves for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I got 2nd one yesterday morning by UPS overnight directly from Summit in OH (I guess they expedited the shipping after the earlier delay as I ordered it on 11/12 ). Edited by CAuser 2009-11-17 7:13 PM

| Wo wo! Got the adapter today...and it was simple to use. I chose the Samsung Magiclan because it works with 802.11B or 802.11G networks. Pictures below show...
1 ) The wifi card in the adapter...nothing sticks out at all
2 ) The adapter in the Mobilepro 900C
3 ) The signal of the wifi card using the adapter (socketinadapter.jpg) (adapterin900.jpg) (socket.jpg) Attachments ---------------- socketinadapter.jpg (98KB - 0 downloads) adapterin900.jpg (45KB - 1 downloads) socket.jpg (62KB - 0 downloads) |

| My NBP arrived yesterday, but I can't put my 'Internal' WiFi in. So, MP900(C) is the only one that allows added internal WiFi. |

| A second thought came to me about 'Internal' WiFi on NBP. Why don't I use Samsung MagicLAN SWL-2610C? Indeed, with Rich's tip and exchange of stuff, I got a working Samsung card on NBP. All I need to do is to solder an antenna or even 2. Stay tuned. |

| Well, the driver does not work on Skeye.pad with ARM CPU though it works on MP900C and NBP with Xscale CPU. I guess It won't work on SIMpad SL4 though my SIMpad only shows a mesh without fully booting to the desktop. Edited by CAuser 2009-12-20 9:21 PM

| Here is a photo showing my mod to Samsung SWL2610C. I soldered 2 antennas to the card so that it can achieve diversity. Edited by CAuser 2009-12-31 2:53 PM

| Soldering was tough as the space is limited.
Rich, how is your mod? |
