Hi All,

I am looking for a USB driver for Windows CE2.11 to allow a handicapped friend to use an external USB keyboard on a Mobile Pro 800.

My email address is wilson.logan (at) ntlworld.com

Best Regards,

Wilson Logan.

Moved to Handheld PC Professional

Please check which forum you're in before starting a new thread there. (The 800 is an H/PC Pro device [CE 2.11 = H/PC Pro], not a CE 2.0 device.) We also discourage posting of e-mail addresses here - please have the courtesy to check back for replies rather than expecting other members to do the work for you.

Most usb keyboards are just plug and play on the Mobilepros...no drivers needed or available. Just plug it in...if it works, great...if not, then find another keyboard....

Ok, the information I have is that for the Mobilepro 800 and 880, the only USB device which is supported by the driver which comes with the machine is a mouse. If you want to use any keyboard you need a driver.

I'm guessing that there is no universal USB keyboard driver for WinCE 2.11 or I'd have found it but I'd like to get the definitive answer.

Thanks,

Wilson.

I gotta go along with evildrome on this one, Rich. I tried more than one USB keyboard with one of my 800s, and no luck.
