First of all thank you for the fact you have provided so many information.
I have read on your site, on hpcfactor dot com and I could not find the solution to my problem.

Here's my Mobilepro 900 history.
1. I got a Mobilepro 900 as a present. The keyboard did not work - I suppose a hardware issue - and I was using an USB keyboard. Everything was OK.
2. I played around with it a bit, so it was working. It had an old boot and image so I have upgraded to boot ver. 4.10
3. I have played also with Linux + Haret
4. I have played also with Haret + RAMOS XIP.BIN from cmonex loaded into RAM
It was wonderful.
But, one day, by a regrettable mistake I have updated (with Update.exe) the ROM image (XIP.BIN) with the wrong image: XIP_RAMOS_cmonexv2KITC - XIP.BIN
Because the keyboard isn't working at all, I can not use the combination C+F (as you may know already, the USB keyboard works only in a working OS - it's detected by the OS). It was a brick.

I have JTAGed the Boot again (the SABOOT.NB0... SABOOTpatch03.NB0 provided for JTAG) hoping that it will try to load the XIP.BIN from the CF. Obviously, it didn't.
I've read the Beginners ROM mod.doc and Rom_full_tutorial_v3_20.rtf . After JTAG the system is booting but the operating system doesn't start. It remains in the startup screen.
I know the current image isn't the right one.

It's frustrating to know that you can also JTAG your OS in the flash but I need to know where is the start address to start JTAGing the OS/XIP.BIN. Or maybe you have a better sollution... I don't have the serial cable for Mobilepro and I could not find the pinout of the connector to make the serial connection and start it.

I have the JTAG cable, a 4GB CF, 3 computers (winxp+Cygwin, Debian and DSL) and some electronics knowledge. Please help.

Hi Cmonex.

Are you still working on SABOOT to boot as default in the C+F sequence?

On the normal SABOOT shouldn't be possible to send via JTAG a jump command to the routine where the CF Upgrade is located?
Please answer...

Regards,
D
